Located on over an acre of tall firs and pines off the historic Barlow Trail Road, Whispering Pines Lodge provides a private forest setting for the whole group. This facility is ideal for family reunions, youth groups, weddings, multi-family get-aways, business retreats, and ski camps, etc. This spacious 3-level log chalet is decorated in a classic 'Oregon Trail' lodge theme and has plenty of room to spread out and relax. There are books, games, magazines, movies and incredible mountain scenery to set the mood.

When early pioneers headed West on the Oregon Trail, they were faced with a major crossroad as they neared the Cascade Mountains. They had to decide whether to take the treacherous barge trip through the scenic Columbia River Gorge or cross majestic Mt. Hood via Lolo Pass and the historic Barlow Trail Road. (We can now do both in a single day by taking the highly recommended Mt. Hood loop in an easy and comfortable car trip.)
